Microscopic Circuitboard Repair
Recently came across Sherwoods on TikTok and had a badly damaged Detector Tester unit with a torn ribbon cable which the manufacturer said was completely unrepairable. Steve was able to repair the ribbon cable and reassemble the unit and it is now back out with a technician working perfectly. This cost of this repair was one third of buying a replacement unit. I'll be sending a lot more tech for repairs now instead of just replacing it!

I had a technical problem with my laptop. As I was searching for a solution I came across Sherwood’s in Mullingar. They tested the unit and found that the hard disc was shot. I got a charging port replaced on Bluetooth ear defenders a number of weeks ago. From start to finish the service was top quality. So friendly when I went in initially and the service is so efficient with a text and email straight through with my ticket number. The job was done quicker than anticipated and the eardefenders have been working great since, I asked for extra reinforcement to be put into the charging port as it was a bit flimsy and that certainly was done. 5 stars would definitely return

Steve was great. Went to him with a broken screen from an Oppo phone I bought in NZ. He told me the issue, what to expect, common problem, the prices etc. Really really informative.Fixed the screen and had it back to me in like 2 working days, small issue where the screen popped out so I had to go back it. Again him explained the issue (glue didn't set correctly) and had the phone back to me the next day.Great service, good price, lovely shop and central location.Definitely would recommend

Sent a fendt screen in for backlight repair. All done with no hassle. A new unit would have €2500! Steve repaired for a fraction of the cost!! Would definitely recommend

Very quick and helpful service. Had a problem with the charging port on my phone and was told a repair of it would cost 50 to 60 euro. Turned out it was just a piece of plastic stuck in it and was only charged 20 for the repair so the honesty is appreciated. Only took a couple of hours before it was ready so that was great as well.
